Yoga is more than achieving increasingly advanced shapes, more than benefits extending only as far as your bendiest reach. Isn't all movement for that matter?

 

From my lens as a lifestyle coach and teacher, it’s the skill set we carry to move through life that makes or breaks our experience. In the practice of yoga lies a tremendous opportunity to develop the strength, breath, awareness, connection and coordination of it all to move through the ups and downs of life. Living more connected to yourself and connected to others. 

Why Yoga Therapeutics?

Yoga Therapeutics is a specific and significant toolkit of practices that restores balance to the body, mind + emotions... the essence of you. In the process of forming your plan of care, you get to choose  where we focus based on your interest and need. The practice couldn't possibly be more bespoke - this is for YOU. A few of our tools are: 

 

  • Movement and posture (yoga asana + more)

  • Clinical Somatic Movement 

  • Breath mechanics + assessment

  • Meditation (and other, less formal practices of presence)

  • Tapping + Mudra

  • Reiki

 

We use a variety of hands-on and hands-off assessments to better understand where you are and where balance is needed. Everyone’s resulting plan of care varies widely from the next - no protocols or cookie-cutter programs.

Yoga Therapeutics might be helpful if you’re experiencing:

  • Use your breath to support you every second of the day 

  • Reprogram neuromuscular patters and release chronic tension

  • Re-learn how to rest (body and mind)

  • Build interoceptive qualities (a fancy word for becoming aware of your inner world - and living from here)

  • Take better care of yourself everyday

Group Yoga Therapeutics Series:

75-minute class for up to 8 individuals, centered around a common denominator. Participants or facility will need to provide their own mats and props.
