Lifestyle and Health Coach

Allow me to share a few things with you:

I've had the privilege of working with 700+ professionals in the NY metro area where I witnessed not just the desire and know-how for sustainable self-care but the gap that coaching conversation bridges between just getting by and living well. This was the inspiration that led me to pursue my business.

My practice is rooted in regaining self-trust and know-how. Advice-free and honest, this coaching work honors your values and desires completely, weaving in tools to leverage along the way. Coaching is both the accountability and agency in creating new patterns that so many are missing in pursuit of realizing the life they want and how they want to feel in it.

I hold my masters in Health and Wellness Coaching with a concentration in Integrative Practices (M.A), a bachelors in Kinesiology (B.A), and I am board certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC). I funnel my love for education as adjust faculty at SCSU in the coaching undergraduate program. Functional medicine and chronic pain coaching,  energy work (Reiki, muscle-testing), life coaching and evidence-based mindfulness have been generously sprinkled into my professional development as well.

The path I've traveled to-date also includes 800+ hours of yoga education that has equipped me to be an Advanced Teacher of Yoga Therapeutics and Meditation Teacher. Currently, I am finishing coursework to become a Yoga Therapist through Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy (pending completion Summer 2026).

When I'm not collaborating or in conversation, you can surely find me in a hammock and connecting with the elements in some fashion. I enjoy nothing more than a long-weekend trip to change the scenery as much as the energy and usually have my camera on my hip. As many creatives are, I'm a multi-passionate entrepreneur. I created Elise Cusimano Photography 10 years ago where I channel a love for capturing those engaging with their craft and passion (broadly, lifestyle), professional headshots, as well as the new, tiny humans in newborn photography.
