PROGRESS FOR CHRONIC PAIN
Unrelenting. Insidious. Puzzling.

3 words that describe a kind of pain that changes shape, is inconsistent in how it presents, but often is consistently present. It can happen in our GI system (functional pain), in our tissues, and in our bones. The way it functions is confusing, changing, and at the end of the day, downright maddening.

Meet Neuroplastic Pain: a fancy word that would put some providers out of business and doesn't respond to structural treatment. It's only in the last 10-20 years that this enduring pain has been studied with surprising result: Only the nervous system's estimation of and response to threat can create the kind of pain that behaves this way. The good is our nervous system can learn it, we can also unlearn it.

If your pain has:
-
Lasted longer than 3 monthsbe
-
Began without a clear cause or connection
-
Continued past a healed injury or normal tissue healing time
-
Changed in where and how often it's felt
-
Improved temporarily with distraction or enjoyable activities

If you've been diagnosed with or suspect:
-
Gastrointestional distress and IBS
-
Migrane (vestibular, ocular, and auricular)
-
Chronic back and neck pain
-
Idiopathic [Nerve] Pain
-
Vertigo
-
Fibromyalgia
-
Sciatica
-
Persistant Pelvic Pain
-
Tinnitus

Or, if you've ever:
-
Experienced trauma
-
Had serious pain despite normal labs and diagnostic findings
-
Been told that "it's all in your head" or psychosomatic
-
Walked away unchanged and defeated from some of the best structural pain treatments and therapies available.

Then you're a good candidate for Pain Recovery Coaching.
