Yoga Therapy

Support yourself with breathing, postures and many nervous system tools to create a state of greater ease, connection and ultimately, resilience.

It's the skill set we move through life with that matters most - yoga therapy is that toolkit.

This work is for the too tired, too busy and tried everything, those needing practical and accessible daily shifts to move the needle in thinking, feeling and doing.

A.C.

"Elise is an amazing Somatic Yoga instructor. I went to her after a serious fall resulted in multi-system injuries, which then brought on PTSD impacting my confidence to safely move close to objects, reach upwards, twist, or bend over. Elise took the time to listen to my needs, understand my fears brought on by the trauma, and develop a comprehensive plan each week to help me. She asked me to share the physical therapy exercises I was working on, and incorporated some of them into our work. In the midst of working with Elise it was discovered I had vestibular issues from post-concussion syndrome. When I shared the vestibular diagnosis she took the initiative to research it, learn what therapy exercises I was doing for it, and incorporate that into my work with her. Her calm, gentle, nurturing way of working with clients gets success. After 6 sessions my fears of movement were gone, my confidence in my ability to move safely was restored, and I even learned some techniques to help unrelated back issues. I highly recommend working with Elise!"
