What is Coaching?

As your coach, I partner with you in reaching your wellness goals whether it's optimizing your lifestyle or deepening self-care, whatever the desire is for you and your health. The inherent benefit of coaching is collaborative conversation. We begin by outlining your optimal state of wellbeing, how it feels, looks like and what it uniquely affords. Of critical importance is your comfort and resonance with me as your coach as we walk the path towards facilitating YOUR embodiment of wellbeing. I will listen closely and intently to what you say without judgment, and will ask you questions to get you thinking – all the while honoring your wisdom, values and preferences. Essentially I reflect back to you, like a mirror, how you are “seeing” yourself. This creates new awareness and perspectives on how you are perceiving aspects of your life and your body. I help you to recognize obstacles and how things you tell yourself may be holding you back. Together, we outline your goals and get a system, a 'OS' if you will, up and running. With your permission, I hold you accountable to what steps you choose to take along the way. With your desire and willingness to change, our conversations are the “channel” that enables you to move past those obstacles and create the lifestyle you want. You owe it to yourself and all whose lives you touch to be the best you can be.
